Kashief Lindo Paradise Jamdown

Born I Kingstone, Jamaica, Kashief is the son of guitarist and producer Willie Lindo. He moved to with his family to Miami as a child. Lindo Junior produced his first successful single in 1993 based on the “Santa Massagana” rhythm, and recorded one of the most popular version of “Killing Me Softly” in 1996.

The King of Reggae needs very little introduction. An Album with a similar name, “Time Will Tell” was Released by Bunny Wailer as a tribute to Bob Marley in the early 90’s. The powerful yet mellow voice of Bob Nesta Marley can be heard in the streets of both developing and developed societies.

The immortal poems first lines are:” Dis Poem shall speak of the wretched sea that washed ships to these shores of mothers crying for their young… It was composed by Professor Mutabaruka whose real mane is Allan Hope. Born in 1952, the Rastafari dub poet, musician, educator, actor, and talk-show host will be remembered for developing classic radio programs in Jamaica.
